I spent a long time petting her this evening and she finally gave in and started this deep rumbly purring that made me happy to my soul.

Font - Mellohm233 days ago This is hilarious and very sad, as my step daughter approaches getting a hamster this summer I have told her if she is not careful one of our not caged animals WILL eat it and they will continue living with us 1.9k Reply Share

Font - dangerousfeather · 2 days ago peytonpercytrixie Wait, they had a cat and a cat prey, then got mad at the cat for hunting its prey? Reply Share 1.4k

Font - historygeek1453 2 days ago Honestly this makes me so mad. My cats knocked over my gerbil's cage when I was a kid and proceeded to eat her, but I have never once thought to be mad at them. They're CATS. I thought she was secured when she wasn't but they're CATS. You have to know what you're getting into when you have both cat and potential prey.

Font - Schrodingers Universe - 2 days ago This is a really sad post actually. That cat did not deserve to be abandoned for following instincts. Also her demeanor and face indicate stress and shock.

Human body - EnormousCoat 3 days ago I hope that story is made up. That is the dumbest reason to give up a cat.

Human body - JuliaX1984 2 days ago Aw, honey, your old humans may just want to blame their neglect on you, but we still love you! We know you were just trying to protect your can openers from rodents like your ancestors have done for centuries! Shame on them for not keeping the hamster they allegedly loved so much successfully out of harm's way! You deserve better!
